A story from Mr. Rogers:
"When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would always say, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people that are helping.' To this day, especially in times of disasters, I remember my mother's words and I am always comforted in realizing there are so many helpers, so many caring people in the world."
This program consists of a small staff of dedicated people, but it also consists of dozens of 'helpers'. We call them volunteers. Without volunteers, RDAP would not exist.
It began over 25 years ago with volunteers. It is sustained today by volunteers.
Thank you to each and every 'RDAP Helper'. You give so much to make this program what it is today. Thank you for extending our reach to touch lives each and every day.
