I called her this morning. "Are you hurt?"
"No, not really" she said, " "I am used to it."
"It's my feelings that hurt. I am so disappointed."
He was the one that was 'different' - kind and good.
Last night she found out who he really was.
"At least now I know. "
Pain, disappointment and still with hope she looks forward.
I hurt for her and I admire her.
We must never stop caring, listening and reaching out.
She deserves to know there really are people that are real and good and kind.
Always be an example of kindness everywhere you are. Maybe she was the one in line behind you at the store today.
